0 iTunes & Live Nation bring live music concerts

Apple has setup a partnership with Live Nation, a concert promoter to launch a new live music program that offers exclusive recorded and filmed concerts.

The Live Nation Studios division records concerts in more than 80 venues that have been dubbed "next-generation wired live recording studios". Annually Live Nation produces over 22,000 concerts for 1,600 artists in 33 countries. During 2008, the company sold over 50 million concert tickets and has had over 70 million unique visitors to LiveNation.com.

As part of this tie-up Live Nation will offer its live recordings and filmed concerts from its network of "wired" venues for purchase and download only on iTunes. The artists who feature in these recordings include Jesse McCartney, Saving Abel, OK Go, A Fine Frenzy, Duffy, Ziggy Marley, Plain White T's and many more. Head to iTunes and check it out.

0 Apple announces Black Friday sales event

  Apple has posted a web page announcing a one day sales event on "Black Friday", the day after the Thanksgiving. As you can see on the image, Apple has all its products including the iPod Touch as gift ideas. Discounts and Pricing details are yet to be know or made available but there was a leaked screen shot from BGR that we posted few days back where it was speculated that all iPods (excluding iPod Shuffle) will carry up to 30% discount.
The web page says "Come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event. You'll find dozens of great iPod, iPhone, and Mac gift ideas - all with free shipping."
In a  similar event last year Apple had discounts on all of its iPod models including a $21 discount on iPod Touch. Hope to see more discounts this year given the current state of the economy.

BoyGeniusReport.com has got hold of this screen shot that it claims to be that of Apple's Black Friday deals. According to the information, Apple will be offering up to 30% off on all iPods including iPod Touch. This offer does not include the iPhone and the iPod Shuffle.

This deal is valid only on the 27th of November and it is rumored that the Apple stores will open as early as 6 AM. Also Apple is offering up to 25% off on all Macs and up to 15% off on all accessories, Apple software and Apple hardware

Apple recently has released a new web commercial called 'Next Level Fun' for the iPod Touch on various web sites like the Wired.com. This AD is a 'page-busting' Web ad for 3G iPod touch showing a succession of hands playing various games on the device, while the song "She's Got Me Dancing" by Tommy Sparks plays in the background.
